Rule 402. General Admissibility of Relevant Evidence

Relevant evidence is admissible unless any of the following provides otherwise: • the United States or Texas Constitution; • a statute; • these rules; or • other rules prescribed under statutory authority. Irrelevant evidence is not admissible.
