Rule 2.892. Guidelines for approval of certification programs for interpreters for deaf and hard-of-hearing persons

**** Each organization, agency, or educational institution that administers tests for certification of court interpreters for deaf and hard-of-hearing persons under Evidence Code section 754 must comply with the guidelines adopted by the Judicial Council effective February 21, 1992, and any subsequent revisions, and must hold a valid, current approval by the Judicial Council to administer the tests as a certifying organization. The guidelines are stated in theJudicial Council Guidelines for Approval of Certification Programs for Interpreters for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Persons,published by the Judicial Council.
