Rule 2.1058. Use of gender-neutral language in jury instructions

**** All instructions submitted to the jury must be written in gender-neutral language. If standard jury instructions (CALCRIMandCACI) are to be submitted to the jury, the court or, at the court’s request, counsel must recast the instructions as necessary to ensure that gender-neutral language is used in each instruction.
