Rule 8.710. Application

(a) Application of the rules in this chapter The rules in this chapter govern appeals under Code of Civil Procedure section 1294.4 from a superior court order dismissing or denying a petition to compel arbitration.
(b) Application of general rules for civil appeals Except as otherwise provided by the rules in this chapter, rules 8.100-8.278, relating to civil appeals, apply to appeals under this chapter.
